Xonar DX not upmixing

    Hi,

    I recently reformatted my computer and I've now found that my sound isn't being upmixed to 5.1 while in Analogue or Optical whereas I had no problems with this previously.

    Strangely, the sound isn't showing up as a green bar by 'Speakers' in the Sound Panel or on the Xonar Audio Center but when I test the speakers using either functions I have no problems getting sound from all speakers and with the green bar showing. Also, the green bar does move next to 'Wave' in the recording tab of the sound panel. I don't think this happened before and I have no idea why it's doing so now.

    In game, sound appears to be coming out in 5.1 as it should but it still doesnt sound as good as it did before. As far as I know all settings are as I had them previously and I've been searching for the past week trying to find a solution.

    DxDiag report below if it helps? I've cut out some bits. I was using the beta xonar driver but since then I've reverted back to the previous release with no result.

    UPDATE:

    Disabled all of the recording devices shown in the sound panel and after a restart the green bars are showing in the sound panel and sound is registering on the Xonar Audio Center but still no upmixing...
