I had a laptop motherboard go out on me last week. The hard drive and all the files are fine. I copied "My Documents" to my new laptop (usb enclosure).

Problem is that I was syncing my network J: drive and had files in the "J:" drive of the old laptop that are newer than the files on the server.

Does anyone know where XP would store files it synced from the server and how to retrieve them? I can't find them in the My Documents folder which leads me to believe they are in the Windows area somewhere.

    Thanks for any help

Hmm, I've never had an issue resolved on a forum. I can barely get a response to questions.

So, somebody tell me, is it my name? the way I asked the question? did I not suck up enough? did I now bow down far enough? What is the secret to getting a response on a forum?
