    Hi,
I want to install XP 64 pro on a system that currently has xp 32 pro. My question is, If I buy a new hard drive and install 64 on it, if I run into any problems, would I be able to reinstall the HD with 32 on it and be up and running?

    Thanks

    John

    Hi

Yes, if the hardware is going to be the same and all you are doing is putting a new HDD in the PC and installing XP64 then the HDD with XP 32bit on it will run fine if you pop it back as the hardware drivers will be same.

Thank you very much! I just want to be able to move right back to 32 if I have an issue with the 64.

    Thanks again
