XP Account Logs out Immediately after Login

    Following a crash of XP Pro, everytime I logon to an account, it immediately logs off. Every account on the machine, including administrator, does this.

    Does anyone know what is going on here?

    The crash happened during logoff when explorer and the print driver failed to exit.

    I cannot get into safe mode even. My computer does not recognize the F8 key during the startup process.

    I got into safe mode, but it still logs me off even in safe mode.

    is there any message box appearing when this happens... something that says RPC?

    Don't know if this is your situation but..

    If you "forgot" to register XP and used a crack on it, but later on installed SP1 or SP2 on your P.C. then this is what will happen to you...
