    Hi everyone

This is my first time ever posting on a help forum cos I can usually sort problems out myself, but I have no idea how to sort this one.

I have been learning Chinese and thought it would be useful to install the Chinese language pack for XP by going to

    start/
    control panel/
date, time, language and regional options/
    add another language

However when I click add another language nothing happens. I must have deleted some registry entry (unlikey) or deleted some file (only if it had been detected as a virus by my virus software) or maybe it's because I don't run all the services when I start windows up (I turn some of them off using msconfig).

Any ideas how this can be fixed or where to start?

IIRC, you also have to change your locale for Windows to display as another language. Go Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Regional Options tab --> Location. Change it to somewhere they speak Chinese. Like China.

Thanks for the replies but it's another point that is foxing me.

My problem is not that I don't know how to add another language, the problem is that when I click on regional settings it doesn't work as in no window/dialogue box pops up.
