Xp Cd-rom

    Hello,

    I have an laptop IBM Thinkpad , Pentium 4 windows XP .
    Recently my CD ROM drive have "disappeared" from the my computer list of devices and they cannot be accessed in WIN XP.
    I put the unit on another machine and works fine.
    I put also a Floppy unit on this machine and works fine. :rolleyes:

    Hi, have u tried lookin in control panel-administrative tools-computer management-disk management. This should show ur cd/dvd roms? If not, u might have a bad connection inside ur laptop from the drive 2 the m/b?

    I am sorry ..Not CD-Rom in your Path...Control panel...Disk Management..
    So...???? :rolleyes:
