xp clean install HELP!

Trying to install xp have boxed version and a copy.Same problem with each can not get to GUI interface screen.Both cds act the same say they are loading set up files and complete wait 15 seconds reboot and dont get gui on reboot just goes back and asks to run set up .This is bare bones system bios will not let me acess drive order but it must boot from cd first I hope because it does start cd and partitions and loads set up files PLEASE HELP DRIVING ME NUTS thanks

I had a similar problem before and I came to find out that the processor was over heating therefore it would stop working after a certain time.
