xp computer virus

My XP computer started doing weird stuff Friday 3/16/2011. I followed your Malware removal guide, and most of it has cleared up, but problems linger which I fear are signs of deeper problems. I'd appreciate advice.
I haven't identified exactly what I did that allowed it. I had AVG free edition operating.
At that time, nothing would happen on right click; when I tried to use start menu to open a program, random things would open w/o clicking; internet explorer opened multiple copies (like 40 -- I used escape and clicking close, so don't know what it would have opened w/o my interference).
AFTER RUNNING YOUR LIST, most of it has cleared up, but strange problems sometimes in IE. then I closed down computer today 3/18/12, and when I restarted, ie opened multiple copies again. also had a strange glitch in outlook earlier in day.
After running your tests, which I will try to attach here, I then installed nod32 and ran its scan. i have a trial version running now.
WELL, I messed up and uninstalled superantispyware (wishful thinking) and don't seem to have saved that log... so is this helpful w/o that?

 

I found the superantispyware log! I guess I just turned it off, not uninstalled.

 

continuing to look, found a post elsewhere about possible enter key stuck. It turns out my numeric keys enter key was stuck, so I hope that's what was wrong!? Doesn't seem to explain the no right click menu, but perhaps there were 2 problems and the malware removal process solved that one. Will post again if the problem recurs. Thanks...
