Hi, all! Probably a frequent question, but here goes: User rebooted computer while it was in mid-operation, and not it won't boot. Gets only so far past the XP splash, and reboots. None of the Safe Mode options work; same as above. Attempting to go into Recovery Console doesn't work, because it doesn't recognize the Admin password (which I'm certain is correct, because it's the same for all office computer installations here). I have to get this box up to uninstall an Acrobat 8 license before going forward; Adobe wants cash $$ to help.

    Suggestions? Thanks!

Maybe it dropped the password. Have you tried leaving it blank?
Can you boot from a CD?
What about restarting it yourself before it gets to the reboot stage. Desperate times...
