Yes, I have already looked through 4 pages at the Microsoft Knowledge Base about 0x0000007f and I've looked through the aumha dot com 'error-base' and from what I can tell, this is a hardware problem. I'm in mid RAM diagnostic: 3 passes so far with no errors (11 tests per pass). If it isn't the RAM, and there's no PCI devices, and no video card (everything is on board), then what might the problem be? I haven't run a HD diagnostic yet, nor have I run chkdsk. I'm gonna let the RAM test run a bit longer, then I'm going home for the weekend (I'm at work). So, if anyone has any ideas for me to try on Monday, feel free to post.... :-D Thanks!

(perhaps I should mention that the power supply was dead and I have installed a new 450w PSU)
