XP How do I set up an Administrator account

    Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question,,,just in the user set up area, there is no option to enable the Administrator...

    XP How do I set up an Administrator account ??

    Only My Owner Account is Created With Administrator Privleges

    Does the Administrator account not show up on the login screen when you boot into Safe Mode?

    By default, the first user account created is Admin, unless you opted not to. Boot into safe mode, log in as Administrator and go into your Control Panel. You can create another User there with Admin rights and priv's, or edit an existing account to have those privileges.

    The password should be nothing if you've not set it on install (which I think XP pro does... as well as server, not sure though)
