XP Initial

I think I saw something saying that XP has a differnet sound when you initially start it up. My speakers were not on the 10 times I reinstalled windows. ADMINISTRATORS: THAT WAS BEFORE I KNEW ABOUT MG.COM AND I USED OTHER SITES Where can i get this sound.
Oh, and where can I get the 98 startup sound. It was cool. I heard it in that video in my longhorn thread.

Because your question is related to your operating system, which is software.

 

I have both. The 98 startup wav is 98SE, I don't know if 98FE was different, never owned it.

The XP SETUP sound file is quite large (5 minutes - 7.6 MB). I've converted it to an MP3 to save as I liked it too. Converting it to an avi, wav, mid format is up to you if you wish to do so.

I'll zip them and upload to my webspace for you to download as the zip file is too large to attach here.

Please post back once you have them so I can remove them from the webspace. It is provided to me by the Site owner where I "work". It's a Help Forums site (I'm a Moderator there) and he's given me space on his server to store personal files, and files to help people. He's asked me to "just keep it cleaned up" in return for the space.

I'll have it for you in a few minutes.

Well thank you very much, but, what and where is the casino? Never been there. ;>} The farthest I've been from the help forums and downloads is the real time text thing that runs at the top of the (I think) main page.
