I am having problems installing new software on my pc. I.E. Yahoo messenger, I Tunes, etc. The software cannot be found after reboot. For example I installed yahoo messenger, used the software but after shutting off computer and restatring, the shortcut is still on desktop, but the exe and data files are gone. Previously, I had malware issues where as I followed your directions and help removing all the porblems, however since then I note that I now have issues installing new software. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Do you have partitioning software:confused
If your drive isn't partitioned, split it into 2 drive. Use Fat32 for the formats. After the format, return the drive to the partition number of your choice using the NTSF formats and repartition/reformat. This should clear out whatever malware lingering in your boot tracks & file tables.
