Does any one know of a programme that identifies the XP cd-key directly from the disk?

From the disk?

No, because the key is not stored on the disk.

There are ones here that will find it from the OS, however.

Am I missing something here? Everest ID's my product ID and Product Key for XP Pro. Are we looking at something different?

Reread the original. My Error! Everest will pull it out of the computer not off the CD. Sorry Guys!
