XP Media Edition (pro?) Really?

    Hi Hi: Would anyone know if XP Media Edition is actually XP Pro? It was marketed here by MDG Computers Canada as "Pro" and I'm not so sure. I have formatted the drive and installed an OEM of Pro but I still have the 2 "recovery disks"
    Your advice would be most appreciated.

    It is.

    The older versions are Pro without any features disabled and media features added.

    The latter versions have certain Pro features disabled.
