XP Not 'Seeing' External Drive Used on Win7

I copied some files onto a external USB HD from a USB HD on a Win7 box. Now, no XP machine can 'see' the drive. Win7 boxes can see and access the drive. The XP machines make sound when you plug it in, acts like it is installing the driver, but the drive never shows up in Win Explorer. I have tried 3 XP computers, same thing.

    Any ideas?

    Mornin' Fred.

Might be a "hardware trumps software" problem. What driver is the XP trying to load - what kind of drives are you using?

Got it solved, just got a new hard drive and used it on XP.... Was pretty weird.

Good job - glad you got it sorted.
