XP pro, Admin. password lost

I have a problem with my xp pro, when it tries to start it will stop saying that "this application has failed to start because, winlogon.exe SHLWAPI.dll, was not found" then I hit OK and get the same thing with a different one, services.exe SHLWAPI.dll then I get ISASS.exe then it goes to "setup is being restarted" and over and over. So i put in the XP CD and when I get to the repair panel It wants a admin. Password which I have no idea what it is. Can you help?? I know nothing so keep it simple if possible, thanks , Rich

 

try using a user name that does have full admin rights.
