I somehow moved the bar from the bottom to the right side of my screen so that my start button is top right instead of bottom left. MS help was no help so here I am at the trough again.

    TIA

It's the Lock the Taskbar option. Click and drag your task bar back to the bottom... it may take a few times, but just keep trying to click and drag it back to the bottom of your desktop. Once you've got it back at the bottom, right click on a blank space (no icons or arrows) on the task bar and a menu will pop up. The second to last option is Lock the Taskbar. Make sure this option has a check next to it, and your taskbar won't move from where it currently is.
