Hey all, I am trying to connect my laptop running xp pro to an older machine running 2000pro via rj-45 for file sharing etc., but I'm not sure what to do to get them to recognize each other. Also, If I can get that set up, will it then be possible to access the internet from the older machine through the laptop which is wirelessly connected to my router ? The reason for this unusual setup is that both computers are set up in my motorhome. Router is hooked up to the network in the house, and I can access the internet through the wireless on the laptop. I don't want to have to run cable from way inside the house out to the RV just for this older computer. Sharing the internet connection is not a real priority, ut it would be nice. I just need to be able to access the older computer from my laptop via rj-45. Is it possible without a switch, hub, or 2nd router?

Thanks for any info in advance.
