XP Pro driver updates before SP2

    I just did a clean install of XP Pro and have not connected to the internet yet. I have the SP2 disk and was wondering if I should (or could or how) get the updated drivers prior to installing SP2 before connecting to the internet.

    i think you need to go online and get all the critical updates before you install sp2..good luck

    Install SP2 next before connecting online, Sp2 has everything SP1 had & more.
    I would load all Antivirus/firewall, basic stuff, any chipset/mobo drivers from mobo cd, before going online.
    There are a couple of updates at microsoft that are not on the SP2 cd, you can get them once online.

    I usually keep or download any updated drivers etc to CD, and load too new windows install before ever going online.
