XP Pro install to one HD, corrupted second HD

    I have had this happen a couple of times (you'd think I'd learn...)

    I reinstalled XP Pro on physical hard drive 0 while physical hard drive 1 was still connected and powered up. After the install, I can no longer access HD 1, and it is corrupt. Hard drive 1 was not a bootable drive.

    Anyone have any idea why this would happen? Microsoft does not mention any warning that I can find. :confused
