XP Pro installed from CD, SP2 and SP3 updated

Genuine XP Pro installed then updated to SP2 and SP3.

Now, I'm getting Alert Windows saying "System needs access to your SP3 Installation CD to "???recover???" some system files. Please insert it and press OK."

Of Course I do not have an SP3 CD, nor did the update —as far as I can recall— even offer to let me save the SP3 somewhere on my hard drive first, before updating.

If I insert my original CD, the system ---basically--- tells me I'm an idiot, it asked for SP3.

Appreciate any advise and help.
