XP PRO Interesting fault

HI all i have a strange happening with my pc say while in game every 20-30 min it will auto minimise to the taskbar you click it it re appairs continue fine and in 20-30 mins it will do it again i found some info about at TMUF and the code they talked about is correct in the reg but in brackets next to that code is (20000) they dont mention anything about that so i have not edited yet i also was watching avi and it also did the same thing every 20 + mins

ok when i watch a movie or play trackmania the window minimises to the task bar after 20-30 mins and its anoying as hell when your winning a race

 

Well, if its happening every 20-30 minutes, its obvious there is an application taking focus. Have you tried playing the game in Windowed mode? That would give you a better idea if its the game, or an application causing the issue.

 

windowed mode ? how "i launch from tmuf from its own set up but im keen to find out "

 

check the options for the game?

Are you using AVG antivirus version 9, by any chance?
This problem has been rife on the AVG Free Forum ... over the past few weeks.
