XP Pro reinstall problem

    Trying to reinstall XP Pro on a Dell Dimension 2400 using the OEM reinstall CD. It never asks me for the product key and doesn't install any network capabilities. At first I thought it just skipped it, so I went through the process again, with the same results.
    Any suggestions?
