I had to reinstall XP Pro and then SP2. Now, when I try to access services.msc, task manager or any services in administrative services, I receive a message that it (services.msc) can not be found or I do not have administrative blah blah blah. Same for task manager etc.... Any ideas???

    Thanks.

Not sure because I don't run XP (I checked in 2K) services.msc should be located in C:\Windows\system 32 . Do you see it there? If so, right click it and select properties. You get a box with the users on the computer when you click on the security tab. The administrator (and user who is listed as an administrator should have checks in all the boxes in the allow column.
