Xp problem

I booted my other pc today and when it had started up an avg warning message came up saying i had a trojan horse so i clicked on fix it and rebooted, since then when i have booted it has only got to the xp start up screen and then restarted its self , i have tried putting the xp disc into the dvd drive but it wont boot from it even though i have put the dvd drive first in the booting order.


Any ideas?

Also can i make a emergency bootable floppy from another computer and use it on the screwed one?

 

Sorta, yes.

But, does safe mode work?

 

Safe mode doesn't work.


How would i go about making a bootable floppy?
