XP problem

Just blew the dust off this old Gateway M305CVR. It only has 256 of ram but, It also has 2.4GHZ prosseser

When I turn it on it saids starting Windows setup
Fatal error 0x000006 So I tried my xp black disc did not get past 23 minutes
left and (please insert xp sp3 cd) and the disc is the drive?

My sister brought a xp disc with all versions ran it and finnaly got the proper
39 minutes of files (good thing for product key grabber) but I only have sp1
I downloaded sp2 and 3 my computer tell me to I have some issuse please
start me agian. How do I fix this?
I need to upgrade this laptop.

 

For SP2/3 to run you should upgrade the RAM to 512MB. What other issues is the laptop having?
