I'm in charge of setting up my companies new computers. We are using XP Professional and I'm having a problem. When I install a program under administrator, I log on as the user and the program is not there or it will not run properly. Everything runs perfectly fine when I'm in administrator mode. How can I transfer the programs so when the user logs in they will have access to the programs. Any help would be appreciated.

When installing as administrator, not all programs give access to restricted users.
You should either give the users who need to use it administrator rights.

As the Admin, you can grat permissions to it. You can also place the user into the Power User group. As long as the program doesn't make any registry changes, you should be fine. Also, after you install the program, run it once as the admin. Good luck.

yeah somewhat like what was said before on permissions. If you right click on the programs folder you can then select properties and then click on Sharing at the top. Then you can set it for networks and stuff.
