I have windows xp pro and I have two hard drives installed. I want to reinstall XP so I can change from fat 32 to ntfs. If I reinstall xp and format my main hard drive will I lose any information on my second hard drive? As always thanks in advance for the advice. BanC

You don't need to reformat or reinstall to use NTFS..

go to start.. run.. type CMD and hit enter. now type

    CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

    say yes to all messages.

    reboot your machine.

Thanks that worked. Also would you happen to know if I can delete XP PRO uninstall and XP PRO tour? I will not be uninstalling XP PRO any time soon and I will never use the tour. Thanks for the help just trying to save some space. Both together is almost a gig. As always thanks BanC
