Planning a re-install of XP. Recovery Discs are SP2, so have d/loaded SP3 to CD and will copy drivers. Plan to have Firewall, AV and Anti-Mal set-ups on Flashdrive and install prior to going online. Is there anything else I should be doing to have a successful and secure re-installation? Thanks.

You've got it covered. Only other thing I'd do is run CCleaner to clean up the temp files that have been created by the install.

I would first Slipstream SP3 into your install disk, before you use it. That's much easier and safer than installing SP3 after the install. Been there!

    Cheers Mates!
