XP Reactivation Issues

Hello
I just installed more RAM into my machine and when I booted it up I had to reactivate windows xp. Thinking that it wasnt a problem I did just that. But I couldnt activate it nor could I do anything with the MS website that I was linked to when I clicked the WGA icon on the taskbar. The activation window doesn't show anything. Is there anything that I can do? I have a legit OS installed. Got it from the MSDN alliance website when I was going to school. The WGA cannot verify if I have an authentic installation. Any clues on this?

I'm not sure if this is still the number but at least it's a free phone call even if it is incorrect.
The Microsoft Windows Product Activation phone number for the US is 1-888-571-2048

How to activate Windows XP by phone
To contact a Microsoft customer service representative to activate Windows by phone, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Activate Windows.

Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the notification area.
2. Click Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to active Windows now.
3. Click Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement, click Back, and then click Next.
4. Follow the steps in the Activate Windows by phone dialog box, and then click Next.

Note The number appears now and differs based on the location that you select.
5. When activation is completed and you receive the following message, click OK.
You have successfully activated your copy of Windows.

Yeah thanks for the number. Thats the thing though, I try to run that Validate Windows program but I get that picture with nothing. I cant select anything because nothing is there to select or input in. I will try that number though.

Thank you all for responding. Found a fix for it. Just had to reinstall oobe.exe. There were missing files. Again thanks to those who responded.
