Xp Reboot after Trendmicro removes Troj_generic ADV

Hi,
Like Trendmicro explain here: http://support.antivirus.co.uk/trendmicro2/kbresolution.jsp?hmid=48710&appId=11 there was a problem with the pattern yesterday and the internetsecurity 2008 deleted some windows system files.
anyone know how to resolve this problem? in office we have a lot of computers that restart itself.

i've the same issue on three pc xp sp2 and trendmicro pc cillin 2008 (with patter file 5.525) wich find TROJ_GENERIC.ADV on this system dll:
-linkinfo.dll
-rasadhlp.dll
-srvsvc.dll
-authz.dll
-umpnpmgr.dll

The antivirus ask for a reboot and when the system restart it goes on reboot continuosly. (or if you press "F8" before starting windows, and select "no automatic reboot on system error", you can see an error: stop: c000021a, on windows logon process). The system cannot be started even in safe mode, or safe mode with command prompt.

You have to boot with a 3rd part boot cd (i've a copy of winternals boot cd 2005, that's work great), then you can simply restore the above dll from another running machine, restart yuor pc, and update pattern virus file at v5.527 or above. If in your case the dll deleted by mistake from antivirus are different, you can try with a system restore.
