XP reboot issue.

    HP A220N
    512 DDR 333 ram
    1230 GB hard Drive
    AMd ATHlon xp
    Gforce fx 5200plus 128 mb ram
    audigy
    120 GB maxtor DMA hard drive
    other O/Ses
    FreeBSD
    Mandrake 10CE
    Mepis


    first i cant reninstall xp because of linux
    secondly everything works smoothely in linux
    but xp on the other hand ( instances of reboot)
    -i go to control panel reboot
    -i went to the device config through run and found my ethernet controller was messed reinstall drivers 50% reboot
    -change audios level reboot
    thats about it but it makes it quite a pain.
    so um what should i do
    i ran spybot adaware AVG personal and defrag and manually went through the reg and found nothing and got all the updates
    need help.

    In XP, right-click My Computer, go to Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > UNcheck Automatically Restart and Check Write an event to the System Log

    Next time it happens instead of rebooting you should get a "Blue screen of Death" with some important info on it. Post that info back here please.
