xp recovery

hi

I have an hp pavilion a347x. With some viruses. I tried the malware removal steps but upon using the SuperAntiSpyware program it would freeze up. after several attempts I decided to do a recovery. Which I did and it went thru find, After the restart i had to go trhu some steps and when it got to the What's your computer's name. I inputted my name clicked next and now it is still there with the pointer in the hour glass, it has been like that for the last 30minutes plus.

Just in case there is no solution I do have windows xp setup on 6 floppy disk. Maybe i can use them to restore my pc to like new status.
