Ok I'm really hoping someone has a solution or a tool to help me.

I am trying to remove an old domain from a Windows XP PC and add a new domain. I do not have access to the old domain. The domain and company no longer exist. I have access to the local machine and can log on as Administrator.

    Check out netdom.

From a command line, netdom /?

There should be a Force option to remove it.

If you can log in as the local admin, right click "My Computer", select properties, computer name, hit change button and join the new domain (type domain name in box in place of old one) or join a workgroup if you don't have a domain - apply and ok.
