Hey guys I need some help

I started up my PC normally and it got to the desktop and everything froze. Start wont come up, nothing would highlight, not even CTRL ALT DELETE. I then had to hold in the power button and ever since when I start it up it comes up with "Windows didnt start succesfully last time due to a software or hardware change." and I get 5 options. SAFE MODE, SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING, SAFE MOD WITH COMMAND PROMPT, START WINDOWS NORMALLY AND USE LAST SETTINGS THAT WORKED. I have tried safe mode, start windows normally and use last settings, they all just re-boot the PC after I select a option, and I just get the same screen again. Does anyone know anything I can do in the BIOS Setup or anything please :(

Try doing a chkdsk or last known good configuration :

    To do a chkdsk :

Step One: Click Start, select Run

Step Two: In the box, type cmd

    Step Three: Click Ok

Step Four: Run the chkdsk utility by typing in the following command:

    chkdsk c:

    ..or

    chkdsk c: /f /r

NOTE: The /f command automatically fixes any errors encountered, the /r command locates bad sectors and recovers readable information.

NOTE: I am also assuming the drive you wish to check is the C: drive.

Step Five: A reboot is normally required for the chkdsk program to lock the disk and run correctly (this is typical on machines that have only one volume), so simply restart the computer and chkdsk will run automatically. When it's finished, (This process can take quite a while depending on the size of your disk, etc.), it will boot back to normal Windows.

Hope this helps you out good luck !
    RJ ! :)

Keep trying the Last settings that worked, dont give up until you've tried at least 10 times.
