xp says I have no permission to print

    Gotta love it. Upon booting up the other day, xp pro suddendly tells me I do not have permission to use a printer. And asks me to talk to my administrator. Bad news is that is me. Good news, maybe someone else is really an administrator.

    Printer on 10 foot cable, no network.Been printing fine for months.

    Can't find documents to resolve this. Any ideas?
