XP Security Tools Virus

Good Day All,

I have a dell wit OS XP, it had the XP Tools (fake microsft virus scanner) virus. I am very familiar with this virus and the removal of it.. It seems as if is all gone now, no pop ups, no redirects, no errors etc.. I would however like you to review my logs below and let me know if I forgot to do anything. I ran all "Malware Removal Step" programs as well. Thank you for your kind assistance

PS I did a new virus scan after everything and all is good

I do not see any traces of malware in these logs but in order for me to be thorough you need to attach C:\MGlogs.zip as well as the log from MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware.

You are running an old version of MGtools.

http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/2693/mgtools.gif Now download the latest MGtools.exe to the root of your c: drive.

• Replace your existing MGtools.exe with this one.
• Now run this new MGtools.exe by double-clicking it. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
• When it is finished, attach c:\MGlogs.zip to your next message. (How to attach)

I also need the log from MBAM as requested.
