XP Home Cannot locate the settings that, for example make all pages open in screen size not the smallish ones and also things like : how to make the address bar save all places I was to recently on a drop down, etc. On the 2000's and down these are easy to locate but on this new XP I am lost.

Check your history settings for IE (if thats what you use) to see when it erases itself. Or you could just get Firefox Browser.

I am not sure what you mean by pages opening in screen size?

Right-click on the icon that launchs the program you want to open in Full-Screen mode and select Properties. Click on the Shortcut tab, and in the drop-down box nect to Run:, choose Maximize. Click Apply, then OK.

Is that what you were asking?

i know what they mean, i've looked for an answer for it for ages.
yes the maximize setting can work, but i've found on a few comps that it only does it to a certain extent on programs and won't work with all, i.e. msn messenger for conversations used to never open in full screen
i just kept double clicking on the bar to make it full screen everytime i ran a conversation and they open in full now.
i think you can change it in the registry somewhere but i don't know enough about it.
