    Hi
    Need help with XP laptop.
When shutting down, Windows first installs 4 unknown updates which takes about 3 minutes. This repeats everytime I do a shutdown.

What is this? How do I prevent it? :cry

    Thanks, Ken :cool

Go to windows updates, look at updates it wants to install, click the + sign in front of the update and select "do not show this update again" or "hide this update". (I don't remember the exact wording.
