XP sp1/sp2 Question

I'm getting ready to do a reinstall of Windows XP.(clean install) My reinstallion CD has SP1 on it. I'm also going to install SP2 from a seperate CD. I've read that SP2 also contains all of the SP1 files as well. If that is the case, do I need to uninstall SP1 before installing SP2 or is it alright to just install SP2 on top of SP1. If I need to uninstall SP1 first, how do I do so ? (in laymen terms please) I looked in Add/Remove Programs, but did not see SP1 on the list. Thanks in advance.

 

You do not need to uninstall SP1 before upgrading to SP2.
