I have some unknown stuff in my C:/ folder in WinXP SP2

    C:\214dfd7569f427e3847d
    - All that's inside is "mrt," which is inaccessible even w/ admin rights

And then "Yahoo Install Manager" won't remove itself from my add/remove program lists. When I try, it says something about DLLunregistering failed.

Any advice about those two things?

the first one is probly inacessable because it is in use, so you can either kill the process in task manager then delete it, or start up pc in safe mode and you should be able to delele the folder.

what you could do is find yahoo messenger and reinstall it and then use its own uninstall to get rid of it. what may of happened is that you might of deleted a file that yahoo instant manager needs to uninstall its self
