hi

i recently added an vista theme to my xp when i restart my compiter the theme changes to windows classic.

what should i do to keep the theme.

What Service Pack to XP are you using?

Have you patched the uxtheme.dll file? if you dont know what I'm on about then its likely you have not and this is needed to allow you to add custom themes to XP.

One for SP3 here or the multi patcher HERE (for all XP versions)

But changing system files can have a nasty effect of your PC if not done correctly, so backup all your important data before attempting as its your choice in trying to change the GUI. You will need to patch this file in the admin account.
