I really don't know what to call this problem so if its already been addressed on the board I apologize.

Here it goes hopefully I can explain the problem easy enough for it to be read so someone can help me.

OS = Windows XP there are 4 user accounts User 1 & 2 are Administration Accounts and Users 3 & 4 are limited user accounts.

Well the problem is this when another user is using something the Zone Alarm will "kick" the permission for that particular program or what have ya over to another user. So, say user 2 is trying to load a game it will "kick" the Firewall permission over to User 1. So user 2 has to switch users go to user 1 and click to accept or deny.

In another example say User 3 is trying to print something and wants a print preview prior to printing and the print preview will be "kicked" over to user 1.

User 1 is password protected to prevent the kids from getting and viewing things they don't need to be.

So, what setting can be changed or what is causing this to happen?? I can see if it is just happening on a limited user account but on our other computer its just myself and my husband on that computer and we are both as Account Administrator for user setting and it does it on that one as well.

    Thanks,
    sw:)

Hmmm..don't know what setting it could be offhand, but perhaps the user manual might shed some light?

Well if it was only Zone Alarm it would be fine but it's permission for printing and zone alarm so far are the only applications that I have found that "kicks" over to user 1 for acceptance. Again the print preview "kick" over to user 1 so it can be viewed prior to printing, some zone alarm pop ups will "kick" over to user 1 for acceptance or denial.

So to me it has to do with user settings somewhere somehow but I don't know how to resolve the issue so thought I would try here.. Am going to see what Windows XP forum has to say and see if they can shed any light on the problem and if they can I will post here what they say to do or is the cause of it.
    Thanks,
    sw:)
