I should know this but forgot - since the latest Windoz update I have been getting the login screen whenever I start the computer. How can I skip this since I am the only one to use my lapton?
    Thanks!

Control Panel>user Accounts> Change the Way users Logon and Log off.

Make sure welcome screen is checked. If it is, look in user accounts for an extra account besides:
    Administrator
    Guest
    "Your account"

If yous ee an asp.net account or something of that sort, chekc WIndows Update again, I bet you are missing a .net framework update.

Or you can remove that account.

Also, make sure there isn't a password on your account.

What you what to do is know as an 'Automatic Logon'. If you don't have TweakUI, download it from Microsoft.

    It is not needed.

Welcome screen is designed, provided there is one user besides guest and adminsitrator account, to logon automatically.
