Under Xp what system programs are running when no users are loggged on? Are there tasks that can be scheduled to run even when no one is on the computer?

There are a lot of processes that can be scheduled to run whether or not anyone is logged on to the computer in question, at a given time, so long as the computer is on and connected to the internet.

Try downloading and installing this, http://majorgeeks.com/download619.html. It will tell you what programs are loading at start up. A good firewall program will allow you to either grant or deny access to the internet for any program seeking to do so!

    Hope this helps! :)
