Hi, I got a laptop from a friend asking me to help fix it. Not exactly sure what to do though so I thought I'd ask you guys. Its a Dell Inspiron Mini 10. The OS is xp.

The computer loads to the log in page and once you click your name shows thats its logging in and then shows the background. Then freezes... Let it sit long enough and it will log you back out. I tried safe mode and though that it just logs you out as soon as it logs in. Tried restoring to a safe config and nothing. He said it started after he ran (I believe) Malwarebytes Anti-malware. Restarted and this. I get the feeling it removed some files windows needed to finish booting up. I got linux to run just fine on it using a thumbdrive. Thanks for any help and I'm happy to answer any other questions you have.
