xp won't load

i just installed sp2 through automatic updates. i accidently backed up install, etc to d instead of my windows folder, due to lack of disk space.

i am runnin windows xp home and my caps lock key is broken, by the way

finally, the error that comes up when i try to reload is:

"stop (in caps): c0000153 {application not found}
this application has failed to start because winsrv was not found. reinstalling the installation may fix this problem"

please help
