You are going to have to post into the malware removal forum and start with READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
You will also need to explain eveything you where doing before this happened i:e why you ran malwarebytes what problems you where having to make you run it and so on !

Do you have your XP CD? If so reset the boot in the bios to CD first and run the XP CD use the repair function.

Phil, tried that it just went to the C:\Windows DOS prompt. Is there an explicit exe that i need to run

You need to go into setup that is the bios section of the computer, look for the boot sequence. Change the boot sequence from C: to CD then reboot the system will automatically boot from the CD read the screens, I would choose the repair function that should fix it, as I cross my fingers!!!!!

Edit: if all you can get is the DOS prompt type setup it should pickup the CD.
