XPCOM:EventReceiver (Error - What is it?)

Hi!

Upon shutdown, I had a window pop up stating that "XPCOM:EventReceiver" was not responding. Choose to End Program or Cancel.

I wrote the error down, and chose End Program. I have since rebooted and everything seems fine. I'm currently running scans such as AntiVirus, AdAware, Spybot, etc., to see if anything comes up????

I've started Googling to see if I can come across any info, but as a computer dummy, I trust the opinions expressed on this website more.

Please help.

 

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what I'm finding on Google, but it appears to be a FireFox problem?????

Thanks for your suggestions. I haven't changed anything other than updates such as IE7 and FireFox2 a little while back. As for the extensions, I don't remember the last time I added a new one! lol

I will gradually start uninstalling my extensions. I wonder why all the sudden this is happening out of the blue? Anyways, thanks so much for your help, much appreciated!
